About the Role

We are looking for a Science Teacher who can bring passion and enthusiasm to the subject, delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will be responsible for inspiring curiosity, developing scientific skills, and fostering a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring Science lessons in line with the curriculum.
Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to students at KS3 and KS4.
Use innovative and creative teaching methods to engage all learners.
Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing support and guidance as needed.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued.
Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school’s ethos.

About You

We are seeking an engaging, dedicated, and innovative teacher who is passionate about helping students succeed both academically and personally.

Essential Criteria:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.
A strong commitment to student progress and achievement.
The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Desirable Criteria:

Experience in extracurricular science clubs, STEM initiatives, or mentoring students.
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and challenge students effectively.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

A valid DBS check on the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
Overseas police checks, if applicable.
Proof of Right to Work in the UK.
Two professional references covering the last two years.
