Justteachers is seeking a Pastoral Worker to join a supportive and dynamic secondary school in the Stamford area on a long-term (with a view to becoming permanent) basis. The full-time position is due to start immediately, with shortlisting currently taking place.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Supporting the personal and emotional development of students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

• Acting as a first point of contact for students facing challenges, providing guidance and support.

• Collaborating with teachers and parents to address student welfare needs and ensuring a holistic approach to student development.

• Monitoring and tracking the progress of students’ well-being, addressing any issues that may affect their learning and school experience.

• Contributing to the development of pastoral programs and school-wide initiatives to enhance student engagement and well-being.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• Relevant qualifications (for example a Degree in education or Diploma in working with children or young people)

• Proven experience supporting students in a pastoral or welfare-focused role

• Strong communication skills  with a compassionate and approachable attitude.

• Two education or school-based references.
