Justteachers is seeking a Part-Time Music Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the Bradford area to cover on a long-term basis. The successful applicant will be invited to apply for the role.  The part-time post is due to start at Easter with shortlisting currently taking place.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
• Planning and delivering high-quality music lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Encouraging creativity and musical exploration, helping students develop their skills in performance, composition, and theory.
• Assessing and tracking student progress, providing feedback and guidance for improvement.
• Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the development of the music department and school-wide initiatives.

 

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
• Relevant qualifications (QTS or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching music to secondary students.
• Strong knowledge of the music curriculum and music theory.
• Two education or school-based references.
