Justteachers is recruiting agency looking for a dedicated and motivated Teacher of English to work within one of our partner schools in Melton Mowbray. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a contemporary and ambitious learning environment, with a staff team that values high quality education. The position would start after April and lasting for the academic year. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the English curriculum and the ability to teach across both Key stage 3 and Key stage 4.  Both part time and full-time applicants are encourage to apply.

Key responsibilities:

  • To carry out and deliver a suitably comprehensive, balanced, appropriate and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
  • To monitor and report on the overall progress and development of students.
  • To contribute to growing levels of student success
  • To facilitate and inspire an education experience which gives students the opportunity to realise their individual potential

To be considered for this role, candidates will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching English at KS3 / KS4
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire students
  • A clear enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one.
  • Two education or school-based references are essential
