We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a well-regarded primary school in Huddersfield on an ongoing basis from February half term. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a meaningful contribution to a nurturing and high-achieving school environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum, ensuring all pupils make progress in their learning. You will create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence while supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic development. Strong classroom management skills, a thorough understanding of early learning strategies, and the ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners are essential.
You will work closely with colleagues, teaching assistants, and school leadership to foster a positive learning atmosphere, contributing to curriculum planning and assessment to ensure every child receives a high-quality education. The role also involves building strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child’s progress and well-being.
To be considered for this role, you must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching Key Stage 1 in a UK primary school setting. A strong knowledge of phonics, early literacy, and numeracy development is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be committed to creating engaging and interactive lessons, demonstrating creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for helping young learners succeed.
