An excellent opportunity is available for an enthusiastic Site Supervisor to join a Secondary School in the Longridge area on a long-term, full-time basis. The role is set to begin in February 2025, and shortlisting is currently underway.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Overseeing the general maintenance and cleanliness of the school premises
  • Ensuring the safety and security of the site, including monitoring security systems and locking/unlocking the buildings
  • Managing minor repairs and coordinating with contractors for larger maintenance work
  • Supporting health and safety procedures, conducting risk assessments, and reporting hazards
  • Supervising and liaising with external contractors and service providers
  • Assisting with setting up and preparing rooms for school events, assemblies, and examinations
  • Monitoring and maintaining school equipment and facilities, such as heating, lighting, and plumbing
  • Managing waste disposal and ensuring the site is environmentally compliant
  • Acting as a point of contact for any site-related issues or emergencies
  • Supporting school staff in ensuring a clean and safe learning environment for students

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Relevant qualifications
  • Proven experience of being a Site supervisor
  • Two education or school-based references
