Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Mathematics lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Teach core mathematical concepts, problem-solving techniques, and data analysis skills.
  • Inspire students to develop confidence and enthusiasm in mathematics.
  • Prepare students for assessments, guiding them in developing effective revision strategies.
  • Use formative and summative assessments to monitor and support student progress.
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative classroom environment that promotes positive learning outcomes.
  • Implement differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with the Mathematics department to share resources and best practices.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Relevant qualifications
  • Proven experience teaching Maths to KS3 or KS4
  • Strong knowledge of the UK Curriculum
  • Two education or school-based references
