justteachers is looking for an inspiring Health & Social Care Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Keighley area. This full-time maternity cover role is due to begin after the February half-term, delivering engaging lessons to students up to KS5 BTEC level. The Role:

  • Teach BTEC Health & Social Care up to KS5, delivering engaging and meaningful lessons.
  • Support students in developing their understanding of healthcare, social care, and child development.
  • Guide learners through coursework and assessments, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and provide enriching learning experiences.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching Health & Social Care at secondary level.
  • A strong understanding of BTEC coursework and assessment requirements.
  • A passion for preparing students for careers in health, social work, and related fields.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Two education or school-based references are essential.
