We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our supportive team in a welcoming school located near March.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the school day by supervising lessons in the absence of teaching staff. The lessons will be planned by the teachers, and your primary responsibility will be to manage the classroom, maintain a positive learning environment, and support students as they engage with their work.

This is a full time role to start after February half term and is expected to last until the end of the academic year.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task with their set work.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s behaviour policy.
  • Provide assistance to students where needed to help them complete their work.
  • Liaise with teaching staff to understand lesson objectives and expectations.
  • Uphold the school’s values and contribute to its positive ethos.
