Justteachers is looking for a dedicated and compassionate KS2 Class Teacher to join a welcoming school based in Lincoln.

This full-time position is to cover a long-term absence, offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced KS2 teacher. The position is due to start as soon as possible.

The school is a caring and inclusive primary school, where staff and pupils are welcoming and senior leaders are supportive.

About the role:

  • Delivering well-structured and engaging lessons tailored to the needs of the class
  • Providing targeted support to pupils with SEN, ensuring all children can access learning in a way that works for them
  • Creating a classroom environment that is positive, inclusive, and encourages confidence in learning
  • Working closely with SEN specialists, teaching assistants, and parents to provide the best possible support for pupils who need extra guidance

This role would be great for a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Has strong experience teaching in Key Stage 2
  • Is confident in supporting children with additional learning needs and adapting lessons accordingly
  • Has a nurturing and patient approach, helping pupils to develop both academically and emotionally
  • Is a team player who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider school community
  • Two education or school-based references are essential
