Here at Justteachers we are on the lookout for an SEN TA in the Thetford Area on a full-time contract to the end of the academic year July 2025.

As an SEN TA you will be a compassionate and dedicated individual who has a passion in supporting students with diverse learning needs and be committed to making a positive difference in their educational experience. You will work 1:1 with a SEN students and in small groups when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, both individually and in small groups.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to ensure students’ needs are met.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to relevant staff.
  • Encourage students’ independence and personal development.
  • Support students during classroom activities, lessons, and in unstructured settings.

Key Requirements 

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a SEN setting.
  • Passionate about supporting children with a range of learning needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, empathetic, and proactive in supporting students’ learning and well-being.
  • Two education or school-based references.
