Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and thought-provoking Psychology lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Foster students’ understanding of psychological concepts, theories, and research, preparing them for academic success in the field of psychology.
• Use innovative teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students can engage with and understand the material.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement and academic achievement.
• Collaborate with the Psychology department to enhance the curriculum and contribute to school activities and events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Psychology in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Social Science.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to inspiring and motivating students to achieve their full potential.
  • Two education or school-based references
