Justteachers is a leading teaching agency dedicated to connecting passionate educators with rewarding opportunities. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join our partner primary school starting in September. This role involves delivering high-quality education to young learners in Key Stage 1, fostering their academic and personal growth and is due to start in March with the view to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support students’ academic and personal development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attainment.

Requirements:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
    • Two education-based references.
    • The right to work in the UK
    • Experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
    • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
    • A passion for helping young learners succeed.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Familiarity with a range of assessment tools and strategies.
