justteachers are seeking a History Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Bolton. The full-time post is due to start after February half term with shortlisting currently taking place.

The school located in Bolton, is a large mixed comprehensive secondary school and sixth form that has been rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The school emphasises a holistic approach to education, offering a broad curriculum that includes a variety of extracurricular activities such as music ensembles, sports teams, and various clubs. Key responsibilities of the role include:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Relevant qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Proven experience teaching history
  • Knowledge of the UK Humanities Curriculum
  • Two education or school-based references
