We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in February 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant looking to take the next step in their career or a qualified HLTA seeking a new challenge in a supportive and dynamic school setting. This will be a long term assignment until the end of the academic year on a supply basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and effective lessons across various subjects.
  • Support classroom teachers in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Lead small group interventions and provide one-on-one support to pupils with varying needs.
  • Take responsibility for specific areas of the curriculum or particular groups of children.
  • Contribute to the assessment and tracking of pupils’ progress.
  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Uphold and promote the school’s ethos and values.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Hold a HLTA qualification or equivalent.
  • Have a proven track record of supporting as a HLTA.
  • Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Two education or school based references.
