We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join our partner primary school starting February 2025 initially to the end of the academic year to transition into the new role, with the view to become permanent. This role involves delivering high-quality education to young learners in Key Stage 1, fostering their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the KS1 curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with special educational needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support students’ academic and personal development
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attainment

Desirable:

Experience working with children with special educational needs.

Familiarity with a range of assessment tools and strategies.

Additional qualifications or training relevant to primary education.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
  • Strong classroom management and a nurturing approach
  • Commitment to inspiring and supporting young learners
