Justteachers are looking for an Intervention Teacher to join a nurturing primary school in Norwich. This job will be a part-time long term basis running from the end of February half term until the end of the academic year 2025.

Your day to day role will include working closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to deliver targeted interventions that help students overcome barriers to learning. Your focus will be on creating personalized, engaging, and effective strategies to support students in areas such as literacy and numeracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver one-to-one or small group intervention sessions.
  • Identify and assess students who require additional support.
  • Develop targeted learning plans and monitor progress.
  • Work closely with class teachers to plan interventions into daily lessons.
  • Engage with parents and carers to provide regular updates on student progress.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and learning needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families.
  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching.
  • Two education or school-based references.
