justteachers is thrilled to partner with a lovely village school in Harrogate seeking an enthusiastic EYFS teacher to join their team from February 2025. This is a long term assignment on a supply basis for the remainder of the academic year.

About the Role:

This welcoming primary school, situated in the beautiful Harrogate area, is looking for an EYFS teacher to deliver high-quality, engaging early years education. You’ll play a key role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that supports the unique development of each child, helping them to build confidence and foundational skills. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative team and contributing to a friendly village school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging EYFS lessons tailored to the needs of each child
  • Create a warm and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and growth
  • Support the social and emotional development of young learners
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and the wider school community
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and safeguarding procedures

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Have a proven track record of teaching in an EYFS setting.
  • Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Two education or school based references.
