This is an exciting opportunity to work as an SEN Teaching Assistant with a small class of pupils with SEN needs, behavioural difficulties, and other complex needs. Justteachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a school in Bolton.
Key responsibilities:
• Supporting children in class with behavioural difficulties and SEN needs
• Liaising with the teacher to stay updated with student progress
• Providing 1:1 intervention support or general support
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
The right candidate will have the following:
• Relevant qualifications
• Proven experience supporting children or young adults
• Strong knowledge of Special Educational Needs
• Two education or school-based references
• Must have Legal Right to Work in the United Kingdom
• Must have a current clear and enhanced DBS on the update service.
• The ability to support teaching and learning within a special needs environment
• An empathic approach to behaviour management
