£130 - £195 PER DAY DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE

We are seeking a dedicated teacher confident in delivering lessons across both KS1 and KS2 to join a thriving primary school in Batley. This is an ongoing position, with both full-time and part-time applicants considered. Start date to be determined depending on the successful applicants availability.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons that cater to a range of learning abilities across KS1 and KS2.
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet individual student needs, ensuring progress for all learners.
  • Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment, fostering a love for learning.
  • Support children’s academic and personal development, ensuring their well-being and progress.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student attainment and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and school leadership to support all pupils.
  • Engage with parents, guardians, and school staff to support home-school communication.
  • Uphold school policies on safeguarding, inclusion, and behaviour management.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching across KS1 and/or KS2, with the ability to adapt across year groups.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a creative, engaging teaching style.
  • A passion for primary education and supporting children’s learning and development.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one before starting).
  • A flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
