Justteachers are recruiting for an English Teacher to work within one of partner specialist provision schools located in Boston

As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to small groups or on a one-to-one basis, helping students enhance their literacy skills and achieve qualifications such as GCSEs or functional skills. You will inspire students to reconnect with their education and foster a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and adaptable English lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our learners.
  • Support students in preparing for exams and assessments, focusing on functional skills and GCSE qualifications.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, managing behaviour with support and consistency.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and senior leadership.

Essential Requirements:

About You:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic educator who is committed to helping young people overcome barriers to education. You should be resilient, flexible, and capable of adapting your teaching approach to meet the varying needs of our students.

  • To be considered for this role, candidates must have: 
    • Experience working within an educational or care setting
    • Good knowledge/ understanding of SEND
    • Two education or school-based references
    • A clear Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one
    • The legal right to work in the UK
