Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Specialist SEND Educator to join a vibrant SEN school in Spalding on a long-term basis. This full-time role is available immediately, with shortlisting currently underway.

The Role:

As a SEND Specialist Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering an inclusive, engaging, and personalised curriculum that meets the diverse needs of your students. Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering tailored lessons that cater to the individual needs of students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Creating and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), tracking progress, and adapting strategies to ensure every learner reaches their full potential.
Working collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and external professionals to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Managing behaviour positively and effectively, ensuring a safe and nurturing classroom for all students.

 

What We’re Looking For:

A qualified teacher with QTS, PGCE, or equivalent, ideally with a specialism in SEN.

Experience teaching or supporting students with SEND, including autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.

Strong knowledge of SEND frameworks and effective teaching strategies tailored to diverse learning needs.

Two recent education or school-based references.
