Justteachers are seeking a Year 1 Teacher to join a supportive and close-knit faith-based school in Burnage.  Staff feel valued, and professional development is encouraged. The role is available to start after the February half term and the successful candidate will be offered a 1-year contract.

The school offers a supportive team and a positive atmosphere where both staff and pupils thrive. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to create a stimulating learning environment, and a genuine passion for early years education.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and and mark high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Provide tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of all students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS Framework desirable.
  • Experience teaching KS1 or KS2, with a strong knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and parents.
