justteachers is looking for an enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join our supply team for a part-time role (Monday to Thursday) at a Secondary School in Skipton. This position is due to start after the February half-term and will run on a long-term basis.

Your Role:

  • Teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4, following an engaging and practical curriculum.
  • Deliver Hospitality and Catering lessons, ensuring students develop key industry-relevant skills.
  • Ensure high standards of health, safety, and hygiene in all practical lessons.
  • Prepare students for assessments and coursework, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with the department to develop exciting lesson plans and learning opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching Food Technology.
  • Proven experience teaching Hospitality and Catering at KS4.
  • A valid Health and Hygiene certificate is essential.
  • A passion for delivering engaging, practical lessons that inspire students.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Two education or school-based references are essential.
