We are currently seeking a passionate and versatile PPA Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Wakefield. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the school’s dynamic teaching team while delivering high-quality lessons across various year groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across KS2, following the National Curriculum.
  • Provide effective cover for class teachers during their PPA time, ensuring continuity of learning.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the development of engaging resources and curriculum planning.
  • Contribute to school life by participating in events, staff meetings, and professional development activities.

To be considered for the role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in primary education, with strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to teach across various year groups and subjects.
  • Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain a focused and supportive learning environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
