Justteachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a wonderful, supportive village school in Diss. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a close-knit, welcoming environment where staff are valued, and professional development is encouraged. The role is available to start after the February half term and will be offered on a 1-year contract. Full-time availability is ideal, but part-time applicants will also be considered.

The school offers a supportive team and a positive atmosphere where both staff and students thrive. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to create a stimulating learning environment, and a genuine passion for early years education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and and mark high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Provide tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of all students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching KS1 or KS2, with a strong knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and parents.
