Justteachers are currently looking for an enthusiastic and flexible PPA Teacher to join a dynamic primary school in Bury, starting as soon as possible until at least Easter. This role will involve covering PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time across EYFS to Year 6.

The school has recently been acquired by a well established trust and has a new senior team who are making a great impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Covering PPA time for class teachers across EYFS to Year 6.
  • Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of the students.
  • Ensuring continuity and consistency in teaching, following the school’s curriculum.
  • Supporting and encouraging students of all abilities, adapting lessons where necessary.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborating with other teachers and staff to maintain a positive and effective learning environment.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching across a range of year groups (EYFS to Year 6).
  • A flexible and adaptable teaching style, with the ability to quickly integrate into different classes.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach to teaching.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality education to students of all ages.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the teaching team and support staff.
  • Two education or school-based references
  • A Clear Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one.
