Justteachers is looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEND Classroom Support Mentor to join a welcoming and dynamic school in the Horncastle area.

Supporting students aged 5 to 16, all of whom have Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), the school fosters a nurturing environment where every child can thrive, grow in confidence, and develop essential life skills.
The team prioritises positive relationships between students and staff, creating a supportive atmosphere that encourages both academic progress and personal development.
✔ Providing one-on-one and small group support to meet individual student needs.
✔ Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging lessons and interactive activities.
✔ Encouraging independence, communication, and social interaction among students.
✔ Collaborating with teachers and specialists to tailor learning approaches to each student.
✅ Relevant qualifications in education, special needs, or support work.
✅ Experience working with SEND students, particularly those with EHCPs.
✅ A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to learning support.
✅ Two education or school-based references.
