We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the alternative provision of a mainstream Secondary School in the Boston area. This part-time role (2 days a week) begins after the February half-term and offers a rewarding opportunity to support a student’s educational journey in a tailored learning environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide personalised one-to-one support to a student, helping them engage effectively with their learning.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff members to implement tailored learning strategies that meet the student’s specific needs.
  • Build a positive relationship with the student, encouraging their development and self-confidence.
  • Monitor progress and adapt your support to ensure the student continues to grow academically and socially.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes well-being and academic success for all students.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential for this role.
  • Experience working in an alternative provision or with students requiring additional support is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Two education or school-based references are essential.
