Justteachers are working with multiple schools across Bradford who have a daily need for General Cover Teachers to support their teams and aid in the student’s education.

What is a General Cover Teacher?

The role requires the teacher to cover a range of pre-set lessons in secondary schools to support the learning of the class and manage their behaviour in the absence of the Subject Teacher.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys new experiences and variety in their life. It allows you to set your own schedule, pick the days you do and don’t work whilst helping shape the lives of students.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching at the secondary level, with a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to inspiring a love for the subject among students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities.
  • Two education or school-based references
