Justteachers are excited to be working with a primary school in Bradford that is looking for a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to support their Key Stage 2 students. This is a full-time position starting after the February half term, offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant to make a positive impact in a dynamic classroom environment.

About the Role:

As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support to students, helping them achieve their full potential. You will assist with classroom activities, support small groups or individual students, and contribute to maintaining a positive and focused learning environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the delivery of lesson plans and ensuring children are engaged and supported.
  • Providing additional support to pupils who may need help with their learning, particularly in literacy and numeracy.
  • Working with small groups or one-to-one to provide targeted interventions.
  • Supporting the classroom teacher with behavior management and creating an inclusive environment.
  • Helping to track student progress and providing feedback as required.

About You:

  • Experience working with Key Stage 2 children is essential.
  • A positive, proactive approach to supporting children’s learning and development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work as part of a team and build effective working relationships with both staff and students.
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
