£83 - £90 PER DAY DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE

Justteachers are currently on the look-out for a friendly and dedicated Learning Support Assistant/TA to work within a large Secondary school in the Lincoln area. This is a full-time (32.5hours) role and due to start April 2025.

The school are looking for a strong team player, who builds good rapport with both students and other staff and can provide excellent care to students with additional needs. The school are keen to hear from both educational and care professionals, who have recent experience working 1:1 with SEN.

In this role you will be expected to:

  • Work 1:1 with students across KS3-KS5 with additional needs
  • Help support the main class teacher across a number of subjects
  • Create and deliver leaning activities inline with the child’s EHCP.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) support.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children’s individual needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • A strong understanding of child development and strategies to support children with autism.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support are desirable.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Two education or school based references
