Justteachers are seeking a skilled Plumbing Assessor to join a College in the King’s Lynn area, you will play a vital role in supporting plumbing students by evaluating their practical skills and knowledge, ensuring they meet industry standards, and providing valuable feedback for their development.

You’ll work closely with both students and faculty to ensure that students are fully prepared for the demands of the plumbing industry.

The college are dedicated to providing high-quality vocational training in the trades and are committed to preparing students for successful careers in plumbing through practical, hands-on learning and expert instruction.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of plumbing installations in residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
  • Evaluate the quality, safety, and compliance of plumbing systems with local building codes and industry standards.
  • Provide written reports and recommendations for improvements or repairs.
  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and property owners to ensure all systems meet regulatory requirements.
  • Offer advice and guidance on plumbing system maintenance and upgrades.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and relevant regulations.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Qualified Assessor or experience as an Assessor.
  • Level 3 Plumbing Qualification.
  • Proven experience as a licensed plumber or plumbing inspector.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify issues during assessments.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assessments simultaneously.
  • Two education or school-based references.
