We are looking for an experienced Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to support a busy and vibrant primary school in Mirfield on an ongoing basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners in a supportive and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that supports learning.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress and development.
  • Work closely with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Support the wider school community and contribute to extracurricular activities as required.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a track record of KS1 teaching experience.
  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and the ability to tailor teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A nurturing and positive attitude, with a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic school environment.
