Justteachers is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Chorley. This is a full-time position starting in April 2025.

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Work closely with teachers to provide tailored support to students, ensuring they reach their full potential.
  • Assist children with varying needs, including those with SEND, to enhance their learning experience.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Help implement individual education plans and monitor progress.
  • Foster a love of learning and encourage student engagement.

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
  • Experience supporting primary-aged pupils (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a proactive attitude.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Experience working with children with SEND is preferable but not essential.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in education.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
