JustTeachers is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Corby as soon as possible. As an English Teacher, you will inspire students to develop their skills in reading, writing, and literary analysis while supporting their academic and personal growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and thought-provoking English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Cultivate students’ skills in reading, writing, and literary analysis, preparing them for academic success.
  • Use innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement and academic achievement.
  • Collaborate with the English department to develop and enhance the curriculum and actively participate in school activities and events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English language and literature.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to inspiring and motivating students to achieve their full potential.
  • Two education or school-based references
