JustTeachers is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Lincoln as soon as possible. This full-time, long-term position presents an exciting opportunity for an educator with a passion for English language and literature to make a significant impact in a supportive and inclusive school environment.

As an English Teacher, you will inspire students to develop a deep understanding of the English language and literature while helping them reach their full academic potential. Key responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and thought-provoking English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Cultivate students’ skills in reading, writing, and literary analysis, preparing them for academic success.
• Use innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement and academic achievement.
• Collaborate with the English department to develop and enhance the curriculum and actively participate in school activities and events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English language and literature.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to inspiring and motivating students to achieve their full potential.
  • Two education or school-based references
