Justteachers is looking for a dependable and flexible General Cover Teacher in Market Harborough to join their team after February half term, this will be on a long term supply basis. This role offers an excellent chance for a dynamic educator to play a key part in maintaining the school’s operations, teaching various subjects, and supporting students in staying engaged with their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students across multiple subjects, ensuring consistent and effective instruction.
  • Maintain a well-disciplined classroom environment that promotes safety, productivity, and mutual respect.
  • Provide support to students in their learning, fostering engagement with lesson content and encouraging them to reach their full potential.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and initiative by adapting to the unique requirements of different classes and year groups.
  • Establish and maintain clear and effective communication with students and staff, contributing to a collaborative and positive school community.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures, actively supporting the school’s ethos and positive culture.

  • Relevant qualifications
  • Proven experience of managing challenging behaviour
  • Strong knowledge of the national Curriculum
  • Two education or school-based references
