Justteachers are excited to be working with a welcoming and inclusive SEMH school near Broughton Astley which is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team as soon as possible. The school is situated in a tranquil location away from public transport routes

This full-time, long-term supply role offers an opportunity to positively impact the lives of students who need it most, supporting their behaviour, emotional well-being, and development both inside and outside the classroom. This position is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a commitment to helping students overcome barriers to learning in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The school provides a safe and supportive environment for pupils in KS3 and KS4.They run small group session, full-time timetables, 1:1 sessions in order for the pupils to flourish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being, creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Work one-to-one or with small groups of students to help them manage challenging behaviour and develop self-regulation skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement engaging and effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Support students with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH, to ensure they can access learning opportunities.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have: 

  • Experience working within an educational or care setting
  • Good knowledge/ understanding of SEND/SEMH
  • Two education or school-based references
  • A clear Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one
  • The legal right to work in the UK
