justteachers are supporting their partner SEND Schools and Alternative Provisions within Spalding and across Lincolnshire to provide specialist support staff who can react quickly to meet the needs of schools new intake and referrals, work with existing students who require more support and to help provide sickness cover.

 

We are looking to recruit specialist support staff with experience supporting Students with SEND for short term roles and interventions within school settings of all types across Lincolnshire. We are particularly keen to hear from applicants with experience providing optimum levels of social and emotional developmental support through the following interventions:

 

  • Art, Music and Drama Therapy
  • Social life and work place skills workshops
  • Mindfulness, Yoga and Dance Therapy
  • Food Technology Workshops
  • Progressive Literacy Interventions
  • Multi-Sensory Maths Intervention
  • Lego Therapy
  • Animal Therapy

The ideal candidate will have experience in at least one of the following areas:

  • Working with Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH), Behavioural Needs
  • Rehabilitation or Probation
  • Re-engaging an individual or working with individuals in crisis
  • Vulnerable young people or adults
  • Social work
  • Residential Care Home work

This could also be an opportunity for graduates who are aspiring Teachers.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
  • A relevant Animal Care qualification or relevant experience
  • Experience working in an educational setting
  • Experience working with Special Educational Needs
  • A clear enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one.
  • The legal right to work in the UK.
