Justteachers are recruiting for a passionate and dedicated SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teacher to join a supportive and vibrant SEN school in Coventry. This is a full-time role, with full classroom responsibilities. The successful candidate will work with a diverse group of students with a variety of learning needs and will play a key role in delivering high-quality education tailored to individual requirements. This will be working in a Primary SEN school working with children aged 5-11 years old.

This role is starting as soon as possible and continuing until the summer 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the specific needs of students with SEN
  • Provide differentiated support to help all students achieve their potential
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including SENCOs, teaching assistants, and therapists, to provide holistic support
  • Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment that encourages students’ personal and academic growth
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to the development of IEPs (Individual Education Plans)
  • Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and well-managed classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Clear enhanced DBS on the update service (we can help you get this)
  • Safeguarding training
  • 2 school/educational based references
  • Previous SEN experience
  • QTS
