We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a school located in Lincoln, City Centre. The role is due to commence ASAP and expected to last until May 2025 and will be full-time. As a cover supervisor you will be expected to cover a number of subjects across KS3-KS4, so the right candidate will be flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects in the absence of regular classroom teachers.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Provide assistance to students in understanding and completing tasks.
  • Ensure that students adhere to school policies and guidelines.
  • Report any issues or concerns to appropriate staff members.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to support the overall development of students.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education-related degrees are a plus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom dynamics and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Patience, resilience, and the ability to adapt to different teaching scenarios.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
