Justteachers is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a passionate MFL Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking school in Great Yarmouth. This role offers the chance to inspire students in their language learning journey, delivering engaging lessons that broaden horizons and build confidence in communication. While the role is full-time, we are open to considering part-time applicants who are the perfect fit for the school.

This long-term supply position starts as soon as possible and continues until the end of the academic year in July 2025, providing an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities of the Role:

As an MFL Teacher, you will:

  • Plan, deliver, and mark high-quality lessons in one or more modern foreign languages (French or Spanish), tailored to the needs of Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Inspire a love for language learning, encouraging cultural understanding and confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners, providing both support and challenge.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, using data to inform lesson planning and personalised interventions.
  • Contribute to the school’s ethos by building positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

Requirements for the Role:

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
  • Have experience teaching modern foreign languages (experience with Key Stage 5 is a bonus).
  • Are enthusiastic about inspiring a love for languages and promoting cultural understanding.
  • Can confidently plan, deliver, and mark lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Are flexible, proactive, and committed to supporting students to reach their full potential.
