We are on the lookout for a Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant SEN school in the Ely area on a long-term basis. This full-time role is due to start in February 2025, with shortlisting currently taking place.

The school is dedicated to creating positive and appropriate learning experiences where all feel valued, are challenged to reach their full potential, and are included in a holistic environment. The school provides a supportive, nurturing, safe, and stimulating atmosphere, with aspirations for students to achieve a successful pathway to a brighter future.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Supporting students with a variety of special educational needs in their daily learning and development.
  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Promoting an inclusive and positive classroom environment that encourages progress and builds confidence.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Relevant qualifications in education, learning support, or similar fields.
  • Proven experience working with students who have special educational needs.
  • Strong knowledge of strategies for promoting student engagement and inclusion.
  • Two education- or school-based references.
