Justteachers is seeking a Maths Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic secondary school in Thetford. The school are looking to welcome a passionate Teacher of Maths to their team from February 2025. This is a long-term supply position.

This role is ideal for someone who can ignite a love for Maths in their students while delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across a range of topics. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT ready to start your career, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (experience with KS5 is desirable but not essential).
  • Inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for learning through creative and engaging teaching methods.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them succeed.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and strategies for improving outcomes in Maths.
  • Uphold the school’s values and commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Math’s.
  • Experience teaching Math’s at the secondary level, with a strong subject knowledge.
  • A passion for Math’s and the ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to promoting positive behaviour.
