An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our outstanding school in Lutterworth. With a reputation for excellence, our school provides a nurturing and inspiring environment where both staff and students thrive.

As a HLTA, you will:

  • Plan and deliver lessons or interventions under the guidance of the teaching staff.
  • Provide whole-class, small group, or one-to-one support as required.
  • Assist in assessing and tracking pupil progress.
  • Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for pupils with additional needs.
  • Play a key role in ensuring a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold HLTA status or an equivalent Level 4 qualification.
  • Have significant experience working in a primary or secondary school setting.
  • Be confident in delivering lessons to whole classes across different year groups.
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Be passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, flexible, and positive approach to working within a team.
  • Possess a good understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • 2 school based references
