£82 - £90 PER DAY DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE

We are currently working with a community Primary school, located in the centre of Gainsborough, who are looking for a committed SEN TA to join their team this term (starting ASAP.) This is a full-time role and will include working 1:1 with a Y2 student with ASC. The student has complex needs so the right candidate will be patient and have recent experience working 1:1 with ASC.

The school are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant, who believes in their visions and aims of encouraging all pupils to develop their self-esteem and self-confidence. As well as providing a broad and balanced curriculum to challenge their children to reach their full learning potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support student with KS1 SEN on a 1:1 basis
  • Assist in the delivery of specific interventions and programs tailored to students’ needs
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all students feel valued and supported
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching resources and classroom setup
  • Monitor and track students’ progress, reporting to the class teacher

Requirements:

  • Two references from an education or care provider
  • Experience working within the age range 2-11
  • Energy, enthusiasm and vision
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Experience of providing a positive learning environment
  • UK Legal right to work
  • DBS on the update service or willing for one to be applied for
