Justteachers are looking for an inspired and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to work within one of our partner Secondary Schools in Loughborough. The role would require the successful candidate to teach both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential of Key Stage 5. The role is to start in April on a long-term basis until the end of the school year.

The school looks to inspire a love of learning, fosters creativity, and supports the growth of every student to reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Creating engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities, in line with the National Curriculum
  • Maintaining a focused and productive learning environment
  • Explaining programming, algorithms, data structures, and other key topics in computer science.
  • Encouraging teamwork and collaboration in coding projects and group activities.

 

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
  • Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 / KS4
  • Two education/school-based references
  • Creative curriculum delivery
  • A clear enhanced DBS
