At Justteachers, we are proud to be working with a specialist school near Fakenham that is dedicated to supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The school is looking for a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term supply basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with SEN, including those with Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs, both in one-to-one and group settings.
  • Assist teachers in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Build strong and trusting relationships with students, encouraging confidence and independence.
  • Adapt learning materials and activities to ensure accessibility for all students.
  • Promote positive behaviours and provide emotional support to help students overcome challenges.

Key Requirements 

  • Previous experience working with children in a professional setting.
  • Experience supporting in SEN or SEMH environments.
  • A level 2 or 3 TA qualification is highly desirable.
  • Two education or school-based references.
  • A clear enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one.
  • The legal right to work in the UK.
