We are seeking a motivated and skilled  PE Teacher to deliver engaging, age-appropriate physical education programs. This role involves teaching a wide range of physical activities, from fitness and sports to health education, while fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting physical fitness, teaching a variety of sports, and creating a positive and inclusive environment for all students. The role is due to start after February half term and the school are open to both full time and part time candidates.

The role is at lovely school in Loughborough, working in positive and supportive PE department.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Develop and deliver dynamic PE lessons that are aligned with the school curriculum, focusing on skill development, fitness, and sportsmanship.
  • Teach a variety of sports and activities, ensuring that all students participate and develop fundamental skills in a range of disciplines
  • Maintain an orderly, respectful, and safe environment where all students feel comfortable participating in physical activities.
  • Work closely with other staff members, including other PE teachers, health educators, and coaches, to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Extensive knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Two education/school-based references
  • Strong experience teaching Physical Education at secondary school level
  • A clear enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one
  • The legal right to work in the UK
